What we collect
- Details you give us through our forms, by email, phone or WhatsApp: your name, email address, phone number and the message you send.
- Information you share during a consultation about your income, spending, savings, debts, investments and goals.
- Payment confirmations from Paystack or Flutterwave, such as the amount, date and transaction reference. We never see or store your full card details.
- Basic technical information when you visit the site, such as browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and secure.
Why we use it
We rely on your consent, on the need to perform our agreement with you, and on our legal obligations as the lawful bases for this processing.
- To reply to your enquiries and arrange consultations.
- To provide the advice and services you've asked for.
- To process payments and keep accurate financial records.
- To send occasional updates, only if you've asked to receive them.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our payment providers, email and hosting services, and only as far as they need it to do their job. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months if you don't become a client. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires, typically six years for financial records.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your information where we no longer need it.
- Stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
- Send your information to another organisation in a usable format.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections on this website and restricted access to client records.
